New Ecosystem Partner. i10 welcomes Infotechtion

Updated: Sep 8, 2022

21st September 2021: i10 proudly welcomes new ecosystem partner Infotechtion

i10 Limited is delighted to welcome Infotechtion to the already strong i10 ecosystem, providing greater breadth, depth and resilience that will significantly benefit our clients.

i10 specialises in a number of organisational transformation areas: digital, data, technology, people, process, culture and org design. Backed by a team of experienced professionals and utilising their ecosystem of specialist partners - now including Infotechtion - i10 consulting services meet the needs of a range of clients and deliver lasting changes with measurable results.

This announcement follows a successful engagement at the Food Standards Agency (FSA), where i10 and Infotechtion have worked together to help FSA to transition to using M365 SharePoint as the solution for combined collaboration and document and records management.

The FSA is a government department with a legal duty to manage and preserve information and record assets. As an effective regulator, FSA needs to:

  • exploit information and data to drive decisions policy and service delivery

  • ensure information is accessible to those who need to see it

  • preserve information beyond the immediate business need for which it is created, in the medium term for audit and accountability purposes, and in the long term as public records which may be transferred to the National Archives.

  • comply with government records management policy to manage our portion of HMG information assets

In order to help FSA, i10 and Infotechtion have successfully:

  • produced an information architecture design for managing documents and records in SharePoint including template sites, automated site creation, solution for managing emails as records, retention policies, metadata model, access model, solution for HR personnel files, options for reporting, prerequisites for licensing

  • produced an information architecture design as the repository for migrated records from the current records management system

  • developed a detailed plan for implementation of the new architecture across FSA

  • completed a pilot

  • delivered business change and education to the users participating in the pilot

  • developed and coordinated FSA-wide communication of the project implementation

  • established the migration of records for the pilot users from Wisdom to SharePoint online

"Infotechtion specialises in information governance and protection for Microsoft 365, with demonstrable experience and outstanding capability in helping clients to automate records management with Microsoft 365," said Mark Hastings, i10 Founder and Director. "We have proven our relationship at FSA and are keen to continue working together to deliver value to our clients working collaboratively as part of the i10 ecosystem."
