In addition to being a recognised authority in public sector transformation in the UK, i10 is committed to setting the standard for Social Value by creating a positive, lasting impact on our public sector clients and making a difference in society.
i10 believes in tailoring our social value contributions to align with our clients, and this donation is a result of a commitment made to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), with whom we work closely. Having agreed 20 work-packages with FSA, we have planted 10,800 trees through Ecologi. Once mature, each of these trees will likely offset 48lbs of carbon each year, so we have already committed to offsetting 518,400 lbs of carbon per annum (once the trees are mature). At the time of writing, we have planted a total of 19,500 trees and achieved 170 tonnes of carbon reduction. You can track our progress here.
This is in addition to having made a donation to FareShare - enough to provide 20,000 healthy and nutritious meals to children in need.
