i10 wins large contract with CCS

i10 is delighted to have won a contract with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) worth up to £4m over 12 months.

Procured using the new Digital Specialists and Programmes (RM6263) framework, lot 1 Digital Programmes, i10 was selected ahead of 50 household-name consultancies and digital agencies including Cap Gemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, Fujitsu and Kainos.

About CCS

CCS is one of the largest procurement organisations in Europe, providing commercial solutions to the UK & NI public sector by improving the way we buy goods and services, saving money for the taxpayer and using the government's buying power to support the economy. CCS advises and negotiates on behalf of all government departments and the wider public sector to obtain better value services, engaging with the market and helping to make the procurement process faster, less costly and more effective for suppliers and buyers and to actively improve the value gained from contracts across government.

CCS is at the centre of a generational change to the way public procurement is run across the UK public sector. The Transforming Public Procurement Green Paper, published in December 2020, sets out a number of strategic objectives for the UK and CCS will be at the forefront of delivering these.

The Programme

i10 will be working with CCS’s Digital and Data Services Directorate (DDS), which is responsible for the provision of secure, innovative, flexible digital solutions to ease the burden of procurement, whilst enhancing and empowering the usability to provide effective, quick, safe procurement in the digital age, supporting the Contracting Authority and its wider customer base.

As part of an ambitious portfolio of work, i10 is supporting CCS to establish and run:

  • Digital and IT Service Management: A Service & IT Management programme of excellence that will enhance and mature the Services operational functional capability.

  • Digital Capacity & Capability for Design: support for the establishment and running of a Service Design function, incorporating User Research & Business Analysis alongside Enterprise & Solution Architecture.

  • Programme/Project Management and Improvement Function (PPMI): incorporating Programme Management / Project Management and Project Management support (PMO).

CCS, therefore, had a broad-ranging need for high-quality, cost-effective DDaT capability, capacity and expertise and has selected i10, recognising that the best way to deliver value for the taxpayer whilst fulfilling all the requirements of the contract, is to deploy i10's unique, proven ecosystem model, comprising over 20 outstanding UK SMEs.

Reacting to the news, i10 Founder and CEO Mark Hastings said "We are absolutely delighted to have won such a significant engagement with CCS. This win is a further reinforcement of the power of our ecosystem approach to delivering value to the UK public sector and we look forward to helping CCS at this exciting time in public sector procurement transformation".

The contract will run from 23rd January 2023 until 24th January 2024, with the option to extend by a further 6 months.
